Police have reported that a lovesick Slovenian man, who had destroyed posters that included the good general has been released with just a warning.
Local police said the 54-year-old man was arrested in Kalasin City following complaints filed by candidate Chalong Karalert yesterday that eight of his posters were destroyed, including ones with images of junta leader Prayuth Chan-ocha. The man, identified as Zvonimir Nad, was released with a warning Monday after Chalong declined to press charges.
54-year-old Zvonimir had confessed to police, that after his girlfriend had stood him on Valentine’s day, he had become angry that she was at a party rally instead of a sweet Valentines meal where he was going to propose to her, security footage had shown him slash images of party leader Prayuth Chan – Ocha after riding his motorbike halfway across the city to take his anger out on a poster.
Kind-hearted Chalong has said he dropped charges and the Valkenysins Slovenian was released with just a warning.
